Adithi (The Guest)
Adhiti is intended to honor distinguished personalities in the fields of arts and culture from other states. They would be invited by the Kerala government for a three-day stay in Kerala as special guests. During this period, they will be escorted for a three-day tour of the cultural centers and monuments of Kerala.

The Guests would be familiarized with institutions like Kerala Kalamandalam, the Asan Smarakam, the Sangeeta Nataka Academy, and the Lalita Kala Academy. The program can be held with the help and coordination of the individual associations of the peoples of various states residing in Kerala. For e.g.: the Marathi Association could help bring personalities like Lata Mangeshkar or Asha Bhonsle. Personalities like Balamuralikrishna, Pdt. Ravishanker, Ustad Zakir Hussain, AR Rehman, Viswa Mohan Bhatt and others could be invited as guests under this program.

The personalities would be honored at functions held at the Nishagandhi Auditorium. Honorable Chief Minister and Cultural Minister would present a special memento by the Bharat Bhavan.

Sahitya Sangamom (Literature Meet)
The Sahitya Sangamom is for bringing together at a venue littérateurs from different states for an informal exchange of ideas. There will be three-day contact programs on the themes of nationalism and religious harmony. Followed by a two-day tour of places. The first meet could have 50 littérateurs (25 poets, 25 novelists/story writers). Of these there could be five each from Hindi, Tamil, Kannda, Marathi, Urdu, Bengali and Oriya and ten from Kerala.

Food Festival
It would be organized in Kochi to coincide with the Onam celebrations. The festival could be organized with help from various Associations and the State Civil Supplies Corporation. 

Regional Film Festival
This film festival would focus on films made in the regional languages and in Hindi. The five-day festival would have fifty films in different languages besides packages from masters. Films of eminent filmmakers would be screened and they would be honored at the venue. Ketan Mehta, Shyam Benegal, Rituparno Ghosh, Maniratnam and Santwana Bardoloi are some of the filmmakers who would be honored. 

Deva Ragam
This would be a festival focusing on the romantic moments from the classical dance and other art forms of India. A festival to spread the message of love. The festival could include the Lasya Bhavas in the classical dances of Mohiniattom, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kathak and Manipuri, the romantic moments from Kathakali, Koodiaattom, Krishnanaattom, Nangiarkoothu etc, the Lasya Bhava in the sculptures of Kanai Kunhiraman, the Shringara Bhava in the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma. 

Photo Exhibition
A photo exhibition on the theme of 'Art and Life'. The exhibition will showcase photos, which capture rare and unique moments from the lives of artists, social activists, sports persons and media persons from different states. It would be organized with help from the regional dailies and publications of all states. Along with this a seminar on regional dailies would also be held.

International Seminar on Ravi Varma Paintings
It would be an exhibition on the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma along with the screenings of videos and films made on the painter and his paintings and a seminar on the subject. Efforts will be made to bring together collections of Ravi Varma paintings. The occasion could also be used to announce the setting up of a Ravi Varma Art Gallery in Thiruvananthapuram.

International Drama Festival
This festival is to familiarize the people of Kerala with the latest forms and trends in theatre from across the world. About 25 plays could be included in a seven-week festival. 

Workshop on Story Telling
An international workshop on the art and craft of story telling. All traditional and modern art forms and literary works adopt various methods of story telling. The workshop seeks to project the diversity and aesthetics of these various methods. This would be a unique workshop even at the international level. Special importance would also be given to the art and literary forms from Indian states.

Gana Smrithi
This is for introducing to the younger generation the valuable contributions made by the legendary drama and film songwriters and singers. A music troupe to be named the Ganasmirithi music troupe would be formed with young singers. They would tour the schools and colleges of Kerala and other states to sing old songs mostly promoting the message of national integration and communal harmony. This would enable the younger generation to be familiar with the past masters like Muhammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Shirgai Govindarajan, KB Sunderambal, Kozhikode Abdul Kader, KS George, MS Baburaj, Kamukara, Mannadey, Salil Chaudary etc. (

Natya and Vadya Vidyalaya
An institution to impart formal training in the musical instruments and dance forms popular in other states. Like for e.g.: Sarod, Sitar, Shennai, Sarangi, Lavani, Kuchipudi, Kathak etc. The first center is functioning at Cochin. Classes are held on Saturdays, Sundays and other public holidays. Since these instruments and dance forms are already well known among the people of Kerala, thanks to national television, there is a great interest in these classes. (
